David and Lana Paulette started Paulette Fur Company shortly after being married in 1969. David had always hunted and trapped and purchased skins from others as a young boy. Starting in Sandyville, Ohio, David and Lana grew their family and moved to their current location in Malvern, Ohio.
While David purchased furs off of the local hunters and trappers, Lana busied herself by making artistic creations out of the pelts. Paulette Fur Company is known around the world for making the most beautiful Davy Crockett style fur hats that can be found.
In 2009, David and Lana retired and their children officially took over the business to form an L.L.C. David and Lana are still active in the fur market and Lana continues to make her beautiful creations. Check out the products page to see some of her work.
